G.George of Cambridge will have no choice. As an adult he will not be able to decide his fate and, after grandfather Charles and father William, he too will ascend the throne of England. But how to prepare an 8-year-old boy for the historical role that awaits him? Mom takes care of it, Kate Middleton who, they say at court, has developed a real Royal plan, a small program of conversations and informal lessons to help his son face his future as a prince and monarch.
Kate Middleton to George: A true king is distinguished by the clothes he wears
In public, George already knows he has to dress a certain way and his mother taught him: when you play your role Royal, you need to show the world an elegant appearance. And last summer, when the Cambridge’s went at Wembley Stadium, London, for the Euro 2020 final, dad William wanted to allow his son to wear England t-shirt and shorts, but Kate objected and pulled out a jacket and tie for George too.
Kate Middleton and her husband William, a modern family
Until now George was able to enjoy, together with his little sister Charlotte, 6, and his little brother Louis, 3, a lifestyle that was as normal as possible and in close contact with his parents, even if living in a royal palace and attending a prestigious school. William and Kate are, in fact, convinced of the fact that, in order to preserve the monarchy with all its values and traditions, the Royal Family British must adapt to the times and appear less unattainable.
George of Cambridge’s training began a year ago
Shortly after George’s seventh birthday, William and Kate sat next to their son and they began to explain to him his future as king and the implications of a life in the service of his subjects, telling him, however, as if it were a story for children. William, in particular, insists on gradually preparing his first child from an early age to avoid the shock he suffered in his youth.
