(toskanews) — Malika Ayaneamong the most refined and magnetic voices of Italian music, returns to the competition at the Sanremo Festival with the song «nocturnal animals».
«Nocturnal animals It’s a beautiful, funny but profound song. Like all light songs, it’s a fake silly song. It talks about feelings, the relationship with others we choose and how important the impression that others have of us is. It’s a song full of rhythms and wonderful guitars: the inspiration starts from 70s funk soul».
5 years after her last participation (she boasts five appearances and numerous Critics’ Awards), Malika talks about her bond with Ariston like this: «Sanremo is a beautiful place for me. I hope it doesn’t rain, because with the sun it’s like opening a pop-up book and finding yourself in colorful parallel worlds. I feel gratitude for the launch of my career and pride in having grown up as a musician in a context I watched as a child.”
From the February 27 the exclusive version will be available 45 rpmwhich will contain the Sanremo song and the unreleased version (we are all) nocturnal animals created together with Where is Lianathe French trio that mixes French touch and electronics. The song is written by Malika with Edwyn Roberts and Stefano Marletta; from November the artist will return live in the main Italian theatres.
