CHon the wounds on his face because of bad fall in training, Michela Moioli kisses her bronze medal. The champion from Bergamo is pure adrenaline on the Livigno track and makes the board run up to become the bronze queen of women’s snowboard cross in Milan Cortina 2026. Another memorable page of his career after the gold at PyeongChang 2018 and the team silver Of Beijing 2022. Precise, fast in the curves and indestructible, Moioli makes the public dream closing behind of the young Australian Josie Baff (gold) and the Czech Eva Adamczykova (silver). The beginning of a special story with the table

Born in 1995, Michela started skiing in three yearsand then approached five-a-side snowboarding under the guidance of masters such as Giancarlo Tagliaferri And Cesare Pisoni. It was precisely this childhood amidst fog, falls and broken teeth that formed the champion and determined woman of today. Newcomer in World Cup at 17 years oldMoioli was the first Italian woman to score a long series of records in snowboarding. No one before her had achieved a medal at the World Championships, so she paved the way for new generations of Italian snowboarders.

The snowboard cross challenge

The snowboard cross it’s not a simple descent: it’s a high-tension race where technique meets risk in every turn. The athletes descend in groups of four or six, over jumps, bumps and changes in gradient, and have to face natural and artificial obstacles while they physically confront their opponents. The speed is very high, the trajectories must be precise and every fraction of a second can make the difference between podium and fall. It is a sport where the mental preparation it is as important as the physical one, and where every medal tells of the ability to dominate chaos and adrenaline. Michela did it and made us dream.
