Mette-Marit’s collaborators have received a letter from the court regarding the Epstein scandal.

Mette-Marit has recently been in the middle of a huge uproar. PDO

The uproar around Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit will not subside. Mette-Marit has been at the center of a huge uproar after the recently released Epstein documents revealed more embarrassing information about her contact with Jeffrey Epstein.

Citizens’ trust in the future queen has been shattered, and Mette-Marit’s cooperation with, for example, the Norwegian Mental Health Council was suspended as a result of the uproar. However, Mette-Marit has also gained understanding in her situation.

Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet says that the Norwegian Library Association is not going to cut ties with the Crown Princess despite the uproar. According to the newspaper, the association discussed the matter on Monday.

The library association commented that it had received the letter from the Norwegian court and that it had taken the matter seriously.

Norwegian newspaper VG previously reported that the Court of Norway has approached Mette-Marit’s cooperation organizations by letter after the uproar.

According to VG, the organizations that Mette-Marit has acted as patrons were approached on the same day that the crown princess’s apology was published.

– The Crown Princess has asked to send this letter due to recent events in the Epstein case, the letter begins.

In the letter, it was said that the protection duties were meaningful to Mette-Marit. He was also said to understand that many people reacted strongly to the recent information.

The letter also includes statements previously made by the Crown Princess to the media. Among other things, Mette-Marit emphasizes that she was not aware of Epstein’s convictions or the extent and nature of the crimes. The letter pointed out that a Google search does not change this claim.

Earlier it was reported, for example, about Mette-Marit’s e-mail message in which she told Epstein that she had searched for him on Google. Even before this, Epstein had been convicted of, for example, human trafficking, and Virginia Giuffre had said in public that she was one of Epstein’s victims.

The letter forwarded by the court continues that the crown princess is currently in a challenging situation, and she is currently unable to give a more comprehensive explanation of the case. However, he wants to explain the case in more detail when he is able to.

Mette-Marit is written as hoping for an understanding that she needs time.

Several organizations under Mette-Marit’s patronage have demanded clarification on the situation before considering the continuation of cooperation.

Earlier, Mette-Marit expressed her apology in a court announcement, in which she regretted her contact with Epstein.

– I want to express my deepest regret for my friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, Mette-Marit said in the press release.

– It is important for me to apologize to all of you for causing disappointment. Some of the content of the messages between Epstein and I do not represent the person I want to be. I also apologize for the situation I have put the royal family in, especially the king and queen.
