Cross-country skier Kerttu Niskanen visits Encrypted Lives in the series.
Niskanen will play himself in the episode that will be shown on television on Tuesday, February 17. In the episode, Niskanen and her husband Juho Mikkonen arrive at the car repair shop of Kari Taalasmaa (Tommi Taurula).
The episode will be available for viewing on the paid Katsomo+ service already on Friday, February 13.

Encrypted lives producer Seija-Liisa Eskola previously told Iltalehti that Niskanen had visited the show’s studio in the fall. Niskanen has confessed to being a superfan of Salkkarei.
– He was a sincere fan. When he saw Tommi Taurula, he screamed, as if he had seen the Beatles, Eskola told Iltalehte in an interview.

Kerttu Niskanen is currently competing in the Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy. Juho Mikkonen is also known as a cross-country skier. He ended his career in the spring of 2021.
