Mike Hansler is clearly the André Hazes Jr. of Altea. Not only do they have a horror mother as a common denominator, they can also both have foursomes with ex-girlfriends. When will he dump Veerle?
You would think that it would be a struggle for Mike Hansler to find a girlfriend after all those embarrassing images on television in which you see him constantly hanging from his mother’s umbilical cord. But nothing could be further from the truth. That boy wears out one girl after another. Antine Algra and Denise van der Laan are still fresh in the garbage or there is already someone else.
Veerle soon to be ex?
Mike’s newest prey is called Veerle. How long can he last with her? Forever, the reality star swears in the weekly magazine Private. “I will never let go of Veerle. I dare to say out loud that she will become the mother of my children. And I certainly want to marry her in the future.”
What’s so nice about Veerle compared to his exes? “Do you have a moment? It’s better to ask: what’s not to like? She is spontaneous, sweet and caring. What I feel with Veerle is something I have never experienced before in a relationship. She can put everything into perspective and we can laugh a lot together. We have not had any irritation with each other yet.”
Tammies
The two also work together at beach club Tummies, which was opened as part of the Hansler soap. It is a success, Mike says, even in the winter season. “The series was on television and people were curious about what the case looked like. The broadcasts scored extremely well on SBS 6.”
“The snowbirds and holidaymakers on the Costa knew how to find us. From the very first moment, the terrace was packed from early to late. People have a drink, order a bitterbal and have their picture taken with me. I do that with love. It is incredible what I experience, it is so much fun.”
Brokerage
However, Veerle remains mainly busy as a real estate agent. Where will the two be a year from now? “Then I hope we still have the bar. It is also possible that we have sold it and that I am also going into real estate.”
“I certainly hope and expect a very bright future with her. Perhaps with children, if we can succeed. Spain has become my home. I want to stay here, because I like this climate.”
