– It was quite exciting to start watching them. It caused quite an emotional storm in me. I spent sleepless nights and all the things came back to mind again, says Kaija.

A different time
The film also describes a male environment where belittling cannot be avoided. Today, operating in the music field is different, according to Kaija.
– It’s completely different. I get to decide all the things I do or don’t do. I get to plan concerts, be involved in directing, script them and choose songs. I am my own director, Kaija Koo’s director, Kaija states.
Kaija states that times were different before.
– Back then, it was taken for granted that you can behave like that too. Fortunately, we live in a different world.

– My life has been very lucky, violent, sad and happy. All of that, he summarizes.
