Beau van Erven Dorens will be able to drink the blood of Wilfred Genee when he hears what his media enemy has now said about him again. “Harry Mens or Beau and Leonie?” sneers the VI star.

© SBS, RTL

Eleven years ago, Beau van Erven Dorens and Wilfred Genee clashed during a radio interview. Because of his many TV flops, Wilfred then shouted that Beau is the man of ‘twelve trades and thirteen accidents’, which completely went down the wrong way with him. Yet a year later he also decided to give a TV interview to Wilfred.

Address book

Wilfred was then on the air for one season with a very spicy talk show called Wat Gaat Er Nu Door Je Heen. The episodes were all taken offline, but it was really bad. One celebrity after another was keelhauled by the VI star, including Beau. And then he was really done with Wilfred: “He’s out of my address book!”

The argument between the two men was briefly stirred up a few years ago and it seems that the friction between them will never go away. Beau is regularly teased in Today Inside and yesterday it was his turn again.

Harry Human

The RTL Tonight special in which Beau interviewed the three new coalition partners together with his fellow lightweight Leonie ter Braak has been widely criticized. Wilfred also contributes: “Harry Mens or Beau and Leonie?” he sneers. Today Inside.

Phew: put Beau on a par with Harry, who is just about nodding off at his talk show table? The RTL star will undoubtedly be upset about it. Johan Derksen headlines the introduction: “That is the tragic low point of TV journalism.”

Sensible question

According to Johan, it cannot be filmed. “These two ignoramuses failed to ask one sensible question to three people who just saved the Netherlands, or so they themselves think. There are only lame introductions and chatter. Unpretentious chatter.”

Wilfred: “It is very special when you see it summarized like this.”

Johan: “This is terrible. That Beau can only sit in a villa on the French coast and chat with rich boys by a swimming pool and she has to start another program in which she can blow up balloons.”

Not a normal question

Telegraaf journalist Valentijn Driessen thinks it is a weakness on RTL’s part. “Yes, it’s unbelievable if you can’t even ask a normal question.”

Johan: “How can you, as RTL, put those people on it?’

Wilfred believes that Beau should be replaced at such a time. “Can’t you take Renze out of mothballs now? He’s not doing anything with his girlfriend right now, right? He can just be called, right?”

Nonsense

Renze would indeed have been a much better option, Johan thinks. “Those ignoramuses who are there now even criticize Renze. He had the guts to say: ‘I will not continue with this program.’”

VI has been passed by the coalition partners. Wilfred: “We have been called again by this and that person that they want to come by, but hey, it’s too late now, isn’t it?”
