The Azzurri group, sport by sport, for the 2026 Games. Italy, as host nation, is present in all 16 scheduled disciplines
The Milan-Cortina 2026 Games, the XXV Winter Olympics, are scheduled from 6 to 22 February. Given the complexity of some Olympic tournaments, curling, ice hockey and snowboarding events will begin as early as February 4th and 5th. Italy, as host nation, is present in all 16 scheduled disciplines. Here are all the Italian athletes, divided by their respective sports.
We have high hopes of a medal in the ski & shoot specialty, in light of the results of recent years. Lisa Vittozzi, Dorothea Wierer and Tommaso Giacomel are our tips.

Highly competitive Italy in the queen specialty of the Games. From Sofia Goggia to Giovanni Franzoni, we have a team full of talent and experience. The great Italian card for medals in luge, following the Italian tradition in the specialty, is called Dominik Fischnaller: the boy from Bressanone is among the favorites for the podium. In the women’s doubles, the spotlight is on Andrea Voetter and Marion Oberhofer, athletes with great potential.
