The president of the Nerazzurri club announces measures against those who were the protagonist of the crazy gesture against the Cremonese goalkeeper by exercising the approval clause
The roar of the firecracker that exploded a few centimeters from Emil Audero at the start of the second half of Cremonese-Inter is still in the ears of those who, in disbelief, witnessed the scene from their seats or on TV. “I saw the images again, it could have been much worse”, the awareness of the Cremonese goalkeeper who, the day after the incident, commented on those moments so full of apprehension. All of Inter immediately condemned the incident, from president Beppe Marotta to Lautaro, Bastoni and Chivu after the match, at the same time praising Audero’s sportsmanship. And even today the number one of the Nerazzurri club returned to the episode, further explaining to Ansa that “we are in close contact with the competent authorities for the investigation into the unfortunate incident last night in Cremona. Once all those responsible have been identified, Inter will exercise the approval clause to prevent their entry to San Siro – clarified Marotta -. Furthermore, it will proceed against them before the judicial authorities”.
