Iranian Ayatollah Khamenei reappears in public amid bloody wave of protests

Although he spends most of his days in an underground bunker, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (86), made a brief public appearance on Saturday. Khamenei visited his predecessor’s mausoleum to mark the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
