The fire brigade of Emergency Zone 1 was called to a fire on Friday around 4.45 pm. A fire broke out on the ground floor of an apartment building, causing a lot of smoke. The fire brigade quickly got the fire under control, but the apartment was declared uninhabitable.
“A lady was at home at the time of the fire,” said the fire brigade of Emergency Zone 1. “She was taken to the hospital with smoke intoxication. Her two cats were also present. Fortunately, the vet quickly arrived on the scene to care for the animals.”
A number of teams are currently still on site to help extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
