Galatasaray announced that a new 2-year contract was signed with women’s volleyball team captain İlkin Aydın.
Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek and İlkin Aydın attended the signing ceremony held at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park. Emphasizing that İlkin Aydın is an important player for Galatasaray, Özbek said, “İlkin is our pride; Galatasaray’s pride, our national player. He has been serving Galatasaray for a very long time. I would like to thank him for the efforts he has made on behalf of our club so far. He is an important player trained by us; he is very valuable for Turkey and volleyball. He will continue to serve Galatasaray from now on. I wish him success in his future path.”

Stating that he was very happy, İlkin Aydın said, “I am very happy and proud. In my opinion, a path that has been worked hard for cannot be abandoned. I entered the door of this club with very big dreams and there were people who thought that I would leave without reaching these dreams. Today, I think I gave my answer with action, not by talking. I love Galatasaray like the first day and I always feel their support. I thank everyone for being with me.”
