Wilfred Genee is not the man who most often bashes celebrities in Today Inside – he often only gives the introductions – but André Hazes Jr. is now his turn. “How do you get it into your head?”
By now, not many people can have noticed that André Hazes Jr. was recently in New York and that he could not leave because of the heavy snowfall. He has now fled Donald Trump’s country, but is still not well. He posted a whole complaining video on Instagram in which he complains that the pilot was an hour late.
Acorn Hazes
Wilfred Genee finds this kind of behavior disgusting and wrong. “The world is on fire, 30,000 people are being murdered in Iran and in Ukraine they are being shot at on all sides at -30, and what happens to André Hazes Jr.?”
Then follows the video in which André complains. Johan Derksen: “I wonder why we are broadcasting this. Who is interested in this jerk? I don’t make the choices here, otherwise it would look very different. The only exciting thing about this brat is: which bitch is he with him again? You never know.”
In your head
A terribly spoiled attitude, Wilfred thinks. “This goes on for a long time. Then he tells me that he had to wait two hours, that his suitcase was opened and it was a horror. I then think to myself: how do you get it into your head at a time like this to see that as a problem.”
Johan: “So he thinks he is very important.”
Business class
This is a typical example of someone who has lost contact with the common man, says Raymond Mens. “Be happy, man, that you can make such a trip and enjoy it. I think he flew business class. I wouldn’t complain if I were him.”
Wilfred concludes: “No, but it was all so heavy. Then I think: why? What is this all about?”
