The shared responsibility of two car brands that lasted for a couple of seasons is history. Mercedes will once again exclusively supply a safety car to the F1 series. Seen as the safety car of the F1 series since 1996, Mercedes shared the responsibility with Aston Martin from 2021 until last season, but in the future the speed of the drivers at the top of the line will once again be controlled solely by the Silver Arrow. The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series continues as the safety car.
