A very long and very balanced match between the French Tours and Trentino Itas, which returns to success in the Champions League after the defeat in Ankara. Trento without Lavia and Michieletto, Mendez relies on Bristot in place-4 together with Jordi Ramon, then giving space during the match to Andrea Giani. Faure’s opposite performance was decisive (40 personal points!), in a very tight match from the first to the last ball in which the home team emerged with the advantage of a record tie-break (28-26), certainly one of the longest ever played in Europe. Down two sets, in the end Trento beat their rivals in the tie-break.
