A car ended up in the water this evening along the Kanaal Oostzijde in Tiendeveen. No occupants were found in the vehicle by the emergency services, a police spokesperson said.
According to bystanders, the fire brigade would conduct an investigation on the water with a sonar boat. The car probably ended up in the water due to slippery conditions.
Earlier in the evening, a car ended up in a ditch in New Amsterdam, which also appears to be caused by slippery conditions due to snow. No one was injured.
