Angela was very annoyed with Ilse. “I had more trouble with Ilse DeLange, who kept crying about how much she had achieved. That made me a little uncomfortable when that happened three times.”
Placing celebrities on a pedestal without any reason is clumsy, says Marcus. “That also happened a bit when we were presented with Noa Vahle, who is doing a great job and I understand that she gets compliments, but she was announced as if she were the next big TV star in the Netherlands.”
Too lyrical
Marcus thought it was all too lyrical. “There were texts like: ‘Hard work has never killed anyone’, but I don’t think that necessarily fits with the conversations Eva has to have. I watched it with mixed feelings.”
Angela: “I missed a real reason for Noa, for example that she had just won a prize or just before she was going to a World Cup or something else. I think that’s it. It came out of the blue.”
Marcus concludes: “I don’t think Eva should do too many ego interviews. That it should have relevance.”
