The star ensemble from Paris Saint-Germain managed a commanding victory on the way to winning the French championship again. The capital club beat relegation candidates FC Lorient 5-1 (2-0) on Sunday and after the 30th matchday still has a twelve-point lead over pursuers Olympique Marseille. Eight matches are still on the program for PSG in Ligue 1 before the end of the season.
Neymar (12th/90th minute), Kylian Mbappé (28th/67th) and Lionel Messi (73rd) scored against Lorient. The team of coach Mauricio Pochettino also made amends for the bitter 0: 3 in the previous league game at AS Monaco. However, Terem Moffi (56th) managed to score the goal to make it 2-1 after a serious mistake by the PSG defence. Led by the strong Mbappé, who prepared the other three goals, Paris then had no more problems.

The Brazilian Tetê celebrated a tailor-made debut in the dress of Olympique Lyon. The right winger, who was signed just a few days ago as part of the war-related special transfer window from the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk, scored in the 80th minute just two minutes after his substitution against SCO Angers in his new team’s 3-2 (1-0) win.
“It’s a dream start. I enter the pitch and help the team by scoring a goal. It’s true that given the situation in Ukraine I was concerned about not being able to play football again. But that’s in the past,” said Tetê after the game. “I’m here to help the team. This goal is very important for me, for the team and for self-confidence.
