BTS will play two concerts in Munich in July 2026. Or will an additional show be announced? Which suggests that.

South Korean K-pop stars are poised for a major comeback after a creative hiatus and mandatory military service in their home country. The group’s new studio album will be released on March 20, 2026, and is already eagerly awaited by fans worldwide. Following the release, BTS will go on a major world tour across the globe. Two shows have already been announced for Munich – you can find out here whether you can hope for one or even several additional gigs.

The calm before the storm

BTS will also be performing in Europe. In Germany the band will perform at the Allianz Arena in Munich on July 11th and 12th. The pre-sale for this and the tour in general is imminent. Advance sales for registered BTS Army members start on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 at 1 p.m., and on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 (also from 1 p.m.) all other fans can hope for a ticket.

BTS’ fan base is huge worldwide and the tickets are extremely popular. A big rush for pre-sales and long waiting times in the online queue are to be expected. Considering that there are only two concerts in Germany, many fans are likely to come away empty-handed. Now one can speculate as to whether there could be a solution for exactly this.

Additional show in Munich?

A look at the tour schedule shows that there is a five-day break between the dates in Munich (11th and 12th) and Paris on July 17th and 18th, 2026. One could therefore assume that if there is too much of a rush for tickets and a high number of disappointed fans without tickets, a third concert will be organized in the Allianz Arena.

This is how Bruno Mars, for example, handled it: When he announced his “The Romantic” tour for 2026, the rush for advance sales was so great that the singer promptly announced 32 more shows worldwide. There was also an additional gig for Germany.

However, at this point we can only speculate as to whether BTS will follow this example if demand is too high.
