After 20 days, Genoa is fourth in the Serie A club rankings for fines received, with 51 thousand euros in sanctions.
An analysis conducted by Calcio & Finanza on the financial sanctions of the Sports Judge in the first 20 days of the championship reveals Genoa’s position in the fines ranking. The rossoblù club is placed in the upper areas of this special ranking, exactly in fourth place.
The ranking of sanctions
With a total of 51 thousand euros in accumulated fines, Genoa occupies fourth place in this special ranking. Ahead of Grifone are Fiorentina, with 56 thousand euros, Lecce, with 67 thousand, and Roma, which is in first place. At the other extreme is Sassuolo, the least sanctioned club. A particular case is represented by AC Milan, whose fines derive exclusively from delays in the start times of matches. Overall, in the first 20 days of the championship, the Serie A system collected 517 thousand euros in fines, largely attributable to the conduct of the fans.
