Sports director Fabio Paratici will leave Tottenham Hotspur for Fiorentina. The Londoners confirmed this on Wednesday afternoon. “We have agreed that Fabio will return to Italy after the January transfer window closes, in line with his desire to move back home,” Spurs chief executive Vinai Venkatesham said.
Paratici joined Spurs in July 2021 after being the sporting director of Juventus for over a decade. Since then, the Londoners have invested 944 million euros in new players, while 333 million euros have been generated through sales – only three clubs worldwide have recorded a larger transfer loss. At Fiorentina, who are in 18th place in Serie A with 14 points after 20 match days, it starts on February 3rd.
