In terms of sport, things are going well for Julia Henriksson. There is also good news in the athlete’s private life.
Julia Henriksson is one of Sweden’s fastest track and field athletes. The 25-year-old is already a 13-time national champion and holds the Swedish record over 200 meters outdoors with 22.69 seconds and the indoor record over the same distance with 22.84 seconds. She has already competed internationally at European and World Championships and reached the semi-finals in the 200 meters at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Henriksson trained in Italy for a long time, but has now returned to her homeland – with news. Because Henriksson has a new partner at her side: the Swedish ice hockey goalkeeper Christoffer Rifalk. The 29-year-old published pictures with the competitive athlete on social media almost a week ago. “It’s pretty fresh. We’ve been meeting for a few months,” the goalie told the Swedish tabloid Expressen.

The connection between two athletes is an advantage, emphasized Rifalk: “It’s really fun. She’s great in every way. It’s nice that we understand each other in sport and can compare with each other,” said the professional. “It’s very uncomplicated and good.”
Both share the demands of a life of competition calendars, training camps and travel. For Rifalk, this is an important basis: “It means a lot that we have each other. She travels a lot, just like me, but that creates a mutual understanding,” he clarified. “We know what it takes, we give each other space and we push each other.”
According to Rifalk, Henriksson has already been to the arena for some of his hockey games. He announced that he wanted to return the favor: “I’m just the one who hasn’t returned the favor yet – but their season starts soon, then I can give it back. That will be perfect.”
