We were, not without vicissitudes, in the southernmost stadium in continental Europe for a match between the home Under 21 national team and North Macedonia
You say Gibraltar and the first thing that comes to mind is the Rock. It is the undisputed symbol of this British Overseas Territory, located on a large promontory on the southern Spanish coast. Football doesn’t stand out, even if the national team has its own dignity (oh well, let’s be generous): since it was recognized by UEFA in 2011 it has won five matches in official competitions (one with Armenia, two with Liechtenstein and two with San Marino in the Nations League). However, the idea of going to that slice of land to watch a match is irresistible.
