Pure drama! The Skyliners Frankfurt have won a real basketball thriller. On Saturday evening, the Hessians won 89:86 (49:45) against the Niners Chemnitz in their own hall. The first division game was extremely exciting, and the fans couldn’t tell the winner. The Skyliners’ most successful thrower was Isaiah Swope with 21 points; he contributed his last three points in the last second to the victory.
A close encounter was already expected in advance, after all, both teams are not only in the middle of the table, but have also had the same record so far: seven wins, seven defeats. In the first quarter the guests had a slight upper hand, but in the second quarter the home side came in much better.
There is no more tension
In the third and fourth quarters, the two teams were absolutely on equal footing and neither team was able to pull away. It was head to head towards the end.
