Bayer’s mini-series is coming to an end

Bayer 04 Leverkusen suffered a bitter defeat at the start of the year after two league wins in a row. Coach Kasper Hjulmand’s Werkself lost 4-1 to VfB Stuttgart in front of their home crowd. The match winner for the Swabians was double packer Jamie Leweling. VfB draws level with Leverkusen and RB Leipzig in the table thanks to the three points, but the Saxons’ game at FC St. Pauli had previously been canceled due to the weather.
