Natalie Armbruster in the Otepää mass start

As of: January 9, 2026 4:14 p.m

After the mass start run in Otepää, Nathalie Armbruster was in second place. And although the jumping was canceled due to strong winds, the 20-year-old made it to the podium.

Nathalie Armbruster was the only one who could keep up with the strong runner Ida Marie Hagen. Because there was little snow in Finland, the combined athletes only had to run four kilometers instead of five. The Norwegian crossed the finish line 16.8 seconds faster than Armbruster.

Jumping canceled – PCR counts

But the duel on the hill between Hagen and Armbruster did not take place: the jumping had to be canceled due to strong winds. Armbruster still ended up on the podium. Because now the rating from yesterday’s PCR was used. And so last year’s overall World Cup winner ended up in third place. Hagen secured victory ahead of Minja Korhonen from Finland.

Nowak in the top ten

Jenny Nowak secured a place in the top 8 after a strong jump in the PCR. Trine Göpfert took twelfth place and Ronja Loh improved to 17th place with her PCR jump. Sofia Eggensberger and Maja Loh scored their first World Cup points on their World Cup debut with ranks 28 and 29.
