Eindhoven Airport welcomed a record number of passengers last year. The 7 million passenger barrier was almost broken. 6,956,486 travelers flew through the airport. That is more than 150,000 people more than the year before.
The previous record was set in 2023, when 6,814,214 people flew there. There were also more take-offs and landings at the airport: 41,011 in 2025, compared to 40,826 in 2024.
The number of aircraft movements was higher in 2023, but airlines deployed larger aircraft last year.
The busiest month
The month of May was the busiest month ever at Eindhoven Airport. The busiest day was May 5, when 24,935 passengers used the airport. The most popular destinations last year were Malaga, London, Alicante, Budapest and Valencia. Last year, flights from Eindhoven Airport to 76 destinations, three fewer than a year earlier.
Growing out of his jacket
Eindhoven Airport has been expanding the terminal since November 2024. It is too small for the current number of travelers. The terminal is built for up to 5 million passengers per year. The renovated terminal should be completed in July 2027.
