A ceremony was held in the garden of the sports facilities for the bus, which was received by the club managers.
At the ceremony where sacrifices were made and prayers were made, the athletes shared their happiness by dancing halay with District Governor Mustafa Akın and the participants.
District Governor Akın thanked Mayor Erdoğan and said, “Hopefully, we will celebrate the beautiful championships with our people thanks to this bus. We are looking forward to these successes. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.” he said.
Assistant coach of the team, Kübra Şen, said, “We have gathered on the occasion of the opening of our new bus, which is an important achievement for our team. We express our gratitude to our most valuable supporter, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Thanks to them, we have a team bus. We are very happy.” he said.
After the speeches, the participants and athletes took a city tour with the team bus.
Public Prosecutor Osman Altıntaş, AK Party District Chairman Burhan Yaşar, representatives of non-governmental organizations and some heads of institutions attended the ceremony.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted Yüksekovaspor Women’s Football Team, which became the champion of the TFF Women’s 1st League and promoted to the Turkcell Women’s Football Super League, at the Presidential Complex on August 27, 2025.
