There was a remarkable last-minute development within the scope of the ongoing betting investigation in Turkish football. Turkish Football Federation (TFF) recently announced that it referred 108 technical officials to PDFK due to betting. In the statement made by TFF, “Within the scope of the betting investigation carried out by the Turkish Football Federation, it has been decided that the following people, who have served as Technical Officers in Professional Leagues in the last 5 years and who were found to have placed bets during their service, will be referred to the PFDK as a precautionary measure, as of 07.01.2026, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction.” statements were included.
104 MANAGERS WERE REFERRED TO PFDK
On the other hand, in the statement made by TFF, it was stated that it was decided to transfer 104 managers to PFDK. The official statement is as follows:
“As part of the betting investigation carried out by the Turkish Football Federation, it has been decided that the following Football Managers, who were registered with the Turkish Football Federation and found to bet during their active period, will be referred to the PFDK as a precautionary measure, as of 07.01.2026, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction.”
