Fleury’s journey continued from the Canada Life Centre by ambulance to the hospital. According to the Jets, he remained conscious the entire time and was able to move his limbs.
– He hurt his back, neck and head. Also, he had a broken nose, Jets head coach Scott Arniel said after the match on the NHL website.
According to the man, Fleury will stay in the hospital for the night, as he will undergo more tests.
Arniel didn’t blame Kolesar for the injury, and the Vegas gambler didn’t get iced for his tackle.
– He completely lost his balance and flew violently. It’s sad to see something like that. It was a scary situation, Arniel stated.
Fleury has played 17 games this season in the back line of the Jets without any power points. He has played 324 NHL games in his career with 10+34=44.
The Jets lost to Vegas in overtime 3–4. It was already the team’s tenth loss in a row.
