The carrier GVB only says ‘that it does not promise a full timetable’ and, according to the carrier, there will undoubtedly be delays. “We do our best to run as many rides as possible.”
Please note: the weather may change, warn the carrier and so check your trip in advance.
Night riders operate from Tuesday to Wednesday nights. These trams keep the tracks and overhead lines free of ice. You can recognize them by the text night rider in the display. They do not take travelers.
“We will reassess early tomorrow morning whether safe driving is possible. In addition, we will also keep the walkways and spiral staircases that metro drivers use free of ice, and we will spread extra salt at the bus garages to prevent slippery conditions when exiting.”
North Holland buses do not run
In contrast to the GVB, the North Holland bus operators Connexxion/Transdev and SBW already indicated earlier today not to drive. There will be no driving through North Holland until 12 noon.
During the morning it will be decided whether buses can run safely after 12 noon.
