You couldn’t have missed it: Zoetermeer has been covered in snow for a few days. Young and old go out with the dog, a sled or the camera. With a thick layer of snow, they give free rein to their creativity and create the most striking structures.

After a call in the Zoetermeer neighborhood, readers submitted several photos of their creations. One of a snowman with a flower wreath and glasses, the other of snow-covered streets.

Igloo with mood lights

Mirella Seijdel sent a few photos of a ‘fantastic’ igloo. “Isabella, Senna, Nanouk and Jula built this igloo in De Leyens. Fortunately they had a study day, because they spent almost the entire Monday working on it.”

Snowmen

In addition to images of the igloo with mood lighting, indebuurt also received photos of snowmen in all shapes and sizes. Without eyes, with a hat, branches for arms or a cork for a nose. Talitha Roos made a doll with a hydrangea hairstyle and reading glasses and placed her on the bench in the garden. “Enjoying the winter weather.”
