“”Farewell rumors surrounding Aurèle Amenda from Eintracht Frankfurt have been persistent for several months. Now the 22-year-old is apparently increasingly pushing for a change in the winter. The reason for the 22-year-old’s dissatisfaction: a lack of perspective and little playing time under SGE coach Dino Toppmöller, as the advisor to the four-time Swiss national player confirmed.
Amenda, whose market value fell from the previous high of 9.5 million euros to 6 million euros over the past year, wants to use appearances to make a name for himself for the national team and a possible World Cup participation. The central defender has been left out by coach Murat Yakin since the summer of 2025 and has not played in the last six international matches. Even at Eintracht, where Amenda’s contract runs until 2029, there were only seven Bundesliga appearances in the first half of the season. The 1.94 meter tall right-footer appeared four times in the Champions League, including in the two 5-1 defeats against Atlético and Liverpool.
The Italian first division club FC Turin had already been interested in signing Amenda in the summer, and the Granata renewed their interest towards the end of the year. Now consultant Jose Noguera Rodriguez from Signature ISCM AG commented in detail on the “Absolut Fußball” portal about his client’s thoughts of changing and the future.
“Aurèle is an ambitious and professional player who is committed to Eintracht in every respect. He respects his long-term contract. However, we must honestly say that his playing time does not correspond to his expectations and his potential. (…) As a young Swiss national player, Aurèle needs regular appearances at the highest level in order to develop further. The World Cup in the summer is just around the corner. We respect the decisions of the coaching staff, but at the same time we see that other clubs are showing great interest in Aurèle’s qualities.”

According to a report by “Le Parisien”, this should also include the Ligue 1 club OGC Nice. Agent Rodriguez explained with a view to the coming weeks up to Deadline Day: “In January we will examine all the options that are best for his sporting development. If an opportunity arises where Aurèle gets the playing time he deserves, we will seriously consider it. Until then, he will continue to give everything for Eintracht and behave professionally. Aurèle is grateful for the opportunity in Frankfurt, but his career is at an important point where decisions have to be made.”
