The Telekom Baskets Bonn have extended their mini-series in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) to three wins and secured themselves in the playoff places.
The 2023 Champions League winner defeated the former series champion BMA365 Bamberg Baskets 76:74 (36:36) and is fifth with 18:12 points, Bamberg is in seventh place with two fewer games played (14:12).
Alijah Comithier scored 22 points for head coach Marko Stankovic’s Bonn team.
On Bamberg’s side, Demarcus Demonia (17) was the most successful scorer. Shortly before the end, Bonn seemed to be comfortably ahead by seven points, but ultimately Bamberg still had the chance of extra time or even victory with the last possession of the ball: Moritz Krimmer risked a three-point attempt with the final siren and failed.
