Fred van Leer and Richard Groenendijk, who make a podcast together, think that Gordon should really stop talking about his former colleague Gerard Joling. “Stop it.”
Gordon’s radio show could use some publicity and that is why we saw the entertainer organize a whole campaign at the end of the year to get his former TV buddy Gerard Joling on the phone. That caused a lot of speculation about a possible return of Joling & Gordon to the floor. But Geer? He didn’t answer.
Fred lashes out
Gerard says he is a bit fed up with Gordon’s behavior and does not see why it would be relevant to reconnect with his old TV buddy. Of course it helps that Geer has had enormous solo success. After all, his own soap series Only Joling is a hit on RTL 4.
As the podcast duo Fred van Leer and Richard Groenendijk in the New Year’s Eve special of RTL Boulevard When they are asked what they think of Gordon’s attempt to get Geer on the phone, they react negatively.
‘Stop it!’
Fred and Richard are getting a bit tired of that eternal Geer & Goor speculation. “No, stop that, dude,” Fred says sternly.
And also Richard: “Stop it now, Gordon.”
Dries Roelvink is then slightly more positive: “I think it will happen at some point. It may take another two years, but it will come back.”
Theater
Who else got a slap from Fred? The failed RTL Tonight broadcaster Astrid Holleeder. He was annoyed with her face reveal at RTL Boulevard.
The stylist: “It was very theater and that wasn’t necessary. That wasn’t necessary. It would have been more powerful: guys, here she is, bam.”
