Hanna Wass, known as a political researcher, has published a frank article on Instagram.
Wass does not describe the past year in a flattering tone.

– The year has been so incomprehensible that it is too early to try to summarize its meaning. With the hearing damage I received in April, the days have become a struggle for survival, exceeding the limits of endurance many times over, Wass writes on Instagram.
– Many dreams of work and private life that were about to come true have either fallen apart or are firmly on the shelf, he laments.
In the midst of all the gloom, there are also positive things in life.

Wass opened up about his health problems in an interview with Helsingin Sanomat last summer. In April, the researcher noticed that he could not hear in his right ear. The symptoms worsened sharply after this.
