Yle made changes to the Saturday night TV program for a compelling reason.

Yle announced on Friday that The song of my life – program will be exceptionally shown on Saturday at 18:55 on TV1.
Usually the program is seen at 9 p.m., but this time it is shown on TV2 at that time Pate Mustajärvi – Suomirock legend –a memorial broadcast honoring the music legend who died on Boxing Day Pauli “Pate” Mustajärvi.
In Iltalehti’s survey, the majority of the viewers of Elämäni bisik have an understanding attitude towards the change of show time.

Some even hope that the program’s exceptional Showtime would remain permanent.

– Why did the Eläväni song have to be changed to another broadcast time? Couldn’t the Pate Mustajärvi broadcast have been shown at 18:55 and let the Elämäni song come when it was originally on the program? How many people even notice that the broadcast time has changed?
Saturday’s Elämäni song will feature a visa special on Saturday, with guests from Finland’s previous Eurovision representatives Mr. Lord, Marion Rung, Teemu Keisteri, Erika Vikman and Wrapper. The original host Katja Ståhlia followed by Finland’s Eurovision judge Mikko Silvennoinen.
Mustajärvi died at the age of 69. He was diagnosed with a tumor in October. Mustajärvi was the frontman of the Popeda band for decades, until he left the band in September 2023. After leaving the band, Mustajärvi continued his solo career, which he had already done successfully before.
Mustajärvi left an indelible mark on Finnish rock music. The sensible hits he performed include, among others On the way to Alabama, Sergeant Karoliina, Red and sweet, by the Jukebox and for example Thunder forest.
