One of the victims of the fire, which claimed the lives of almost 50 people, was Italian Emmanuele Galeppini. The 17-year-old Italian was a promising golfer. He won the Omega Dubai Creek Amateur Open last year.
Galeppin’s death was reported by the Italian Golf Federation.
