Antoinette Scheulderman is furious. In fact, she’s really in a state of dismay. She opens one of the biggest media attacks ever on the powerful VI star Johan Derksen. “Silly bully!”
Johan Derksen sometimes accused Angela de Jong of having an obsession with certain people, including John de Mol, but of course he also has a number of favorite victims. One of these is Antoinnette Scheulderman, the woman who made a laughable series about the ‘success’ of egomaniac celebrities like Bas Smit.
Backstabbing bully
Antoinette is fed up. The straw that breaks the camel’s back? Just before New Year’s Eve, Johan attributed to her in his podcast ‘the biggest disappointment of the year’, namely that laughably bad ego series. The VI mustache is of course right, but what makes this matter painful is that Antoinnette wrote his biography.
Now she’s completely fed up and she’s hitting back really hard. She starts up Instagram: “For the incredibly pathetic, conniving bully Johan Derksen, who, even when he is not on TV with his media-hungry face, will hurl his lying opinions into the air via a podcast with a few thousand listeners.”
Craving attention
How Antoinnette watches Johan’s podcast, De Greetings from Grolloo? Like attracting attention. “Imagine if you didn’t get any attention for a day!!,” she says. Dan: “This is my favorite fragment from this year’s podcast Kieft, Jansen, Egmond en Gijp: 200,000 listeners by the way, Johan, about 200,000 more per week than yours.”
Her husband Michel van Egmond says in this podcast: “Johan is always very nasty about my wife. He is always very nice to her face and when we transfer the royalties for the book, too, but not in public. He says crazy things like that she has been angling for a TV program for twenty years, but she has actually been saying no for twenty years.”
Homophobia
Why does Antoinnette think Johan has turned against her so much? “You couldn’t stand the fact that I asked you critical questions for your biography (about sexism, homophobia, racism), the man who always shouts that ‘anyone can say anything about me’, and has since started a smear campaign.”
She continues: “All this time I kept my mouth shut out of loyalty because we wrote a book together, even when almost all the media asked us for an opinion about your unsavory ‘candle riot’ story. I called you myself to tell you what I thought about it, I didn’t have to do that through an audience that has nothing to do with it.”
Emails
Antoinnette publishes several emails from Johan. “You are the one who once asked me to write for Voetbal International, and you also wanted me to do something in the TV program (see attached email). Years later, I took part in a screen test once, already for a daily VI at the time, but it didn’t seem like it was for me.”
“Just like I have turned down many more requests from ‘Hilversum’. So you are lying that I have been peddling a TV program for 20 years. I also did not come up with The Smell of Success myself, I was asked for it and I thought that would be a lot of fun. And it was, despite the fact that you tried to ruin all the fun.”
Never never
Johan spreads all kinds of lies, says Antoinnette. “Never I would never say about myself that I am the best interviewer in the Netherlands. Anyone who knows me knows that is another laughable lie from you.”
She concludes: “Please stop with your pathetic campaign, you pathetic biggest bully in the schoolyard, and your embarrassing obsession with ‘blondie’ (that’s what Johan calls her in the emails, ed.). Get a fuckin life.”
