Burn
The emergency number 112 was difficult to reach between twelve and two o’clock. Due to the large crowds at the control room, an NL Alert was sent. The police emphasized that the emergency number is only intended for urgent emergencies.

The Brabant fire brigade was also busy. There were fires at garages in Eindhoven and Dongen, a burnt-out car in the City of Light and Boxmeer, a fire at a Hubo store in Bakel, a roof fire in Loon op Zand and four sheds in Waalwijk.

In Breda an explosion blew out the facade of a house. The police were also busy. For example, officers in Roosendaal were pelted with heavy fireworks. And a 69-year-old man was abused in Den Bosch. Passers-by found him unconscious in his mobility scooter. He had been kicked in the head.
