Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran made statements regarding the agenda. Saran announced that a general assembly with extraordinary elections will be held at the end of the season.

“Perhaps for the first time in my life, I choose my words with such caution. As you have seen throughout my term of office, I have never been a president who likes to talk. It is time to calmly explain myself and where I stand. When I was running for office, I had only one dream, to return Fenerbahçe to the field where it is the greatest, not to the place where polemics are, but to the place where the trophies are… There were things said and implied about me. Allegations that had nothing to do with reality, judgments made from the headlines before the decision of the law. I believe that the law and the principle of innocence are necessary for everyone. “I have become a person who believes that there are things that have been said and implied about me. We have filed criminal complaints for unfounded drug allegations and discrediting. I will not answer one by one because this situation will put Fenerbahçe at the center of all the discussions.”
ELECTION DECISION AT THE END OF THE SEASON
“The way I prefer is to calmly tell the truth to this community. Considering the current situation of our club since we took office, the fact that Fenerbahçe is so close to financial freedom, the schedule of matches in Europe and the league, our belief in the championship, the fact that we finished the first half undefeated and getting closer to the goal every day, the world-class transfers and projects that we have started as the new management in all branches and need to be completed, I will continue my presidency until the end of the season, and then I will call our club to an extraordinary general assembly. “We will take it.”

This is what really made me think and forced me. This is not the result of a step back, but of the will to clarify Fenerbahçe’s path.”
“I was born 61 years ago to an American mother and a father from Kırıkkale. I grew up in different cultures. I became a person who knows where to stand when it comes to homeland and grew up with the values of these lands. I loved Fenerbahçe and sports very much in my life.
