The video showed how the bus driver at De Lijn suddenly pulled over his bus during a ride in Brussels for a very special reason: to buy cake – or, as it now appears – coffee cakes. But the reason turns out not to be just ‘a craving’. “I felt very bad and had to take something. For safety’s sake, I had to interrupt the ride for a moment,” he said.
