More and more people from Buenos Aires choose to say goodbye to the year away from home. December 31st stopped being an improvised dinner and became a complete experience: specially designed menu, guaranteed toast, live music and, in many cases, a party to stretch the night well into January 1st. Signature restaurants, reference grills and five-star hotels deploy proposals that combine gastronomy, service and context, with very different prices and styles. From rooftops with panoramic views to classic banquets or tours of world cuisines, these options allow you to close 2025 and welcome 2026 with planning, comfort and something increasingly valued: the certainty of a reserved table and a smooth celebration.
1. Olympo Sky Bar: New Year’s at the top of the city
Saying goodbye to 2025 and welcoming 2026 from the 31st floor of the Lex Tower, on Corrientes Avenue, makes Olympo Sky Bar one of the most impressive proposals of the night. Your New Year’s plan is designed as a comprehensive experience that combines signature cuisine, live music and one of the most impressive panoramic views of Buenos Aires. Dinner includes a four-course menu – with traditional, veggie and kids options – that includes Argentine classics, a seafood lasagna, Angus tenderloin with mushroom sauce and a sweet closing with champagne mousse. Andeluna wines are served throughout the night, there are live shows by Lina Rivero and a midnight toast with classic drinks. The celebration continues with a DJ set until 2 AM and an a la carte drinks bar. A sophisticated, urban and festive plan for those looking to experience the turn of the year from a unique setting.
2. Villegas Resto & Grill: dinner, party and fires in Puerto Madero
Right in the middle of Dam 3, Villegas proposes a closing of the year designed to go with family or friends. A complete option for those who want to dine well and continue celebrating without leaving their location.

Then, the main dish is chosen between roast lamb with vegetables and nut sauce or mushroom risotto. Finally, the sweet section includes nougat semifreddo with toffee and chocolate and hazelnut cake with whipped cream. Includes wines and sparkling wines. Price: $120,000; kids menu $60,000.

4. Alvear Palace Hotel: classic gala and epic banquet
The Alvear Palace Hotel is once again betting on a farewell to the new year on a grand scale. It opens three of its most emblematic rooms with a banquet that includes a welcome cocktail, froid buffet, sushi and seafood stations, main course, dessert and a large sweet table. All accompanied by high-end wines and live music. A traditional luxury option, with dress code cocktail and five-star service.

5. El Burladero: Spanish tradition
With an Iberian imprint and local products, El Burladero offers a menu that combines trout marble, tortilla stuffed with truffled brie and main dishes such as braised lamb or grilled seafood.
