If I were you series finale: last episode plot and previews 29 December on Rai 1 and RaiPlay

Lightning struck Massimo (Marco Bocci) and Valentina (Laura Chiatti) causing something absurd: one ended up in the other’s body. They have to wait for the next storm to try to get things back to normal. In the meantime they try to manage family relationships during Christmas. Marco, in Valentina’s body, brings a bit of liveliness during the holidays, warming up a cold and formal environment. In fact, her husband Giacomo and her friends struggle to recognize her. Valentina, on the other hand, at home with Oscar (Nino Frassica), Anna and Pietro rediscovers a family affection that he hadn’t felt for years. And he also discovers the illness of Marco’s second son.

Valentina gets hit deep inside and will try in every way to help Massimo raise 25 thousand euros: the idea is to steal one of her husband’s watches. Will he succeed? In the meantime Marco learns that Filippo is frequenting some bad places and who hasn’t attended university for months, filling his parents with lies.

Valentina is seriously worried and above all shocked by the fact that she didn’t notice anything. This makes her reflect on how much her family doesn’t communicate. Now it is Massimo who helps Filippo: he will talk to him and introduce him to Don Ernesto (Enzo Salvi), a priest who in the past helped the worker to stop using drugs.

How the miniseries with Laura Chiatti and Marco Bocci ends

Massimo and Valentina are increasingly complicit. Now they have another mission: to save the company. Sangiorgi will soon be sold to a Swiss group and relocated to Serbia. All workers will lose their jobs. Once again the two will manage to find a way to patch up a precarious situation. With the sacrifice of all the company’s accounts they can get back in order. Massimo and Valentina will help others to understand themselves better. Now they are ready to return to their bodies and take back their lives.

That surreal experience will change the two forever, and like in fairy tales the rich and the poor will find points in common. The social Christmas comedy If I were you then it also turns into a romantic comedy. It was inevitable: a happy ending cannot be missing at Christmas, like panettone.
