62-year-old Tatjana Simic has been famous almost all her life, but the vast majority of people still associate her with Flodder and that of course says something about the further course of her career.
In fact, the hit series Flodder has always remained the highlight of Tatjana Simic’s career. Although she will soon star in the revival of that series, we have really hardly seen her in the spotlight in recent years. She has been living for quite some time with a multimillionaire who has houses in Monaco and Hawaii.
Tatjana is resting
Tatjana never has to work for the money again — she is completely supported — and no one has had to tell her that twice. She spends all day in her hammock playing with Instagram filters. She recently gave an extensive interview The Telegraph and that is a rarity these days.
Why do we hardly ever hear from the actress anymore? “I enjoy the peace and quiet in Monaco. And what did I have to promote? Nothing, because I no longer perform. Moreover, I have been asked the same questions for thirty years. That eventually got boring,” she says in the newspaper.

What is Tatjana like in real life these days? “Tatjana may have gotten a little older, but she is still the same exceptionally graceful appearance that men turn around for on the street,” says De Telegraaf.
Has she become a little less approachable? No, says the newspaper. “There is no sign that she has not done any major interviews for twelve years. The actress talks openly and candidly about her current life. Her laugh is infectious and her brown eyes still sparkle just as brightly as they did forty years ago.”
Three years
Well, that almost sounds like a declaration of love. Why is Tatjana returning to publicity now? The makers of the Flodder return had to convince for three years, she says. “That was not because I was negative about the project, that was out of insecurity. Kees is something from the past, when I was young. I am older now.”
She concludes: “How will people react if you suddenly return as a character from the past? I honestly didn’t know what to do with that. But the idea that I had a daughter, and that Kees senior has not lost her tricks, really appealed to me.”
