A police spokesperson cannot yet say anything about the deceased person. “We are conducting a death investigation at the Handelskade in Beverwijk,” he says.
It is also not clear how the person died.
Missing Milan
Earlier this morning, the police searched for the missing Milan (16) near Handelskade, in Park Scheybeeck in Beverwijk. That is, as the crow flies, a few hundred meters away from the Handelskade.
Milan has been missing since Thursday. Yesterday, around seven hundred volunteers were still looking for him. Milan was born in Ukraine and was last seen on Debora Bakelaan in Heemskerk on Thursday. The boy went outside for a walk, but did not return home.
The spokesperson cannot say at this time whether the person found is Milan.
