A footballer from 1. FC Cologne is experiencing a real “Christmas miracle”: Sargis Adamyan and his wife Anna are expecting their second child.

Certainly none of the presents under the decorated tree could keep up with this news – Sargis Adamyan and his wife Anna are on cloud nine. “I’m pregnant,” the influencer revealed to her more than 600,000 followers in an Instagram post on Saturday morning. The former candidate of “Germany’s Next Top Model” and the striker of the 1. FC Cologne long for their second child together.

Anna Adamyan suffers from endometriosis and despite medical support, her desire to have children remained unfulfilled for a long time. The 29-year-old and her husband Sargis had to cope with two miscarriages before their son Levi was born in 2023. The model recently tried in vain to get pregnant again with the help of artificial insemination – now it worked naturally.

“We couldn’t imagine a greater Christmas miracle. It’s like we’re living in a different world right now because we really didn’t expect it,” Anna writes on Instagram. She herself has probably only known about the good news for a few days, because she adds: “We deliberately share it early, just like after every artificial insemination. Only this time it wasn’t.”

The Adamyans did not expect to become pregnant naturally. “The first and so far last time I was pregnant without artificial insemination was in 2020. It feels so right, because we don’t want to hide this big miracle,” writes the model and wants to put “all our strength” into this “small, big miracle” together with her husband.

In view of this private happiness, the sporting situation of the former Bundesliga professional is probably irrelevant: Sargis Adamyan was already with the first team professionals at the beginning of the season. FC Cologne sorted out and sent to the U21 of the “Billy Billy Goats”. A move to Osnabrück failed due to the financial expectations of the 32-year-old, who earned a million-dollar salary in Cologne.

The FC managers didn’t just want to pay out Adamyan in the summer, as managing director Philipp Türoff now reported again to the “Geissblog”. “The club can’t say that a personnel issue has to be solved at any price,” says the finance director, because: “The problem is only solved if all sides have something of an agreement. And that’s why it’s important for a club to send a message to the market.”
