“To our great disappointment, it started to thaw earlier than expected last night,” said Odoornerveen. Just like in many other places, the local ice skating association thinks the ice floor is too thin to skate on today.
Skating is still possible for the time being in Sleen, Noordlaren and Witteveen, among others. “As long as we can, we enjoy it,” reports Wintervreugd ice skating association from Witteveen.
