It’s recess and Hague Affairs isn’t there for a while. In the meantime, we recommend episodes that are worth listening to. This week: the episode ‘The secrets of the old Binnenhof’. From January 17 we will be back with regular episodes and with a new host: political editor Erik van der Walle.

The secrets of the old Binnenhof

The House of Representatives has been in a temporary location for almost four years. And the Senate and the Ministry of General Affairs also had to move to another home while the old Binnenhof is being renovated. The end of the renovation, which would only last five years, is not yet in sight.

But despite this renovation, there is still plenty of politics to be found. All kinds of archaeological finds were made during the renovation – and the more recent parliamentary history also tells a story. This week, together with Titia Ketelaar and Hanna Hosman, we will travel through the rich history of the Binnenhof.
